　　Longoutofcirculation,DeepThroatPartIIwasconceivedasasoft-coresequeltothehighlysuccessfulDeepThroat.ThefilmwaswrittenanddirectedbysexploitationvirtuosoJoeSarnoandshoton35mmintheNewYorkCityareainearly1973.ItwasreleasedintheU.S.inearly1974withanMPAA"R"ratingandquicklydisappeared;pornjournalistAlGoldstien,writinginScrew,calledit"theworstfilmIhaveeverseen."TheexistingU.S.versionofthefilmnowonDVDisbowdlerized;theItalianDVDreleaseversioncontainsthefilm'soriginalsoft-coresexscenes.Therehaslongbeenanurbanlegendthatthefilmwasshothardcoreandthatthehardcoresexsceneswere"stolen"whilethefilmwasinpost-production;thisclaimseemsextremelydubiousanddirectorJoeSarnohimselfhasinsistedininterviewthatonlysoft-coresexsceneswereshotforthefilm.DeepThroatPartIIisLindaLovelace'ssecondfeaturefilm(sheonlyofficiallystarredinthree).AyoungJudyTenuta(comedienne)hasawalk-oncameo.ThefilmisoneofSarno'srarecomiceffortsandcontainsanunusuallypolishedsoundtrackfeaturingtuneswrittenby,amongothers,formermembersofJayandtheAmericans.
